Khloe Kardashian: “I've Never Been So Happy”

Family defends against claims that Khloe's marriage to Lamar is a sham

Newlywed Khloe Kardashian said she is enjoying the married life.

"I've never been so happy," the reality TV starlet gushed on her blog. "I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for all the love and support I've received."

The 24-year old married LA Lakers star Lamar Odom in a star-studded, black-tie ceremony in Beverly Hills on Sunday night -- tying the knot just a month after the pair first met at a Hollywood party.

Speculation about the legitimacy of the shotgun wedding has swirled in the days since the two said "I do" with rumors that the nuptials were staged for the family's reality show "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" running rampant.

But the groom and member's of Khloe's family have denied the claims that the wedding was a publicity stunt.

"It's crazy how perception works in America when you're looking at things from the outside," Odom, 29, said after the wedding. "It might be off, it might be on. But anybody who was there will tell you that it was a beautiful event and it was real."

Sultry sister Kim Kardashian took to her blog to shoot down rumors that the wedding -- which was filmed by a reality TV film crew -- was fake.

"I really hate all the crazy things I have been hearing regarding their wedding not being real," Kim Kardashian wrote on her blog. "That is just crazy."

"Let Mr. and Mrs. Odom enjoy being newlyweds!" she said. "They are sooo freakin cute together!"

But even step dad Bruce Jenner, who walked Klhoe down the aisle, said he was "shocked" when he first heard the news that the pair was to marry.

"I actually found out about it six days before it happened," he said on Ryan Seacrest's radio show yesterday. "Needless to say, we were shocked."
