Balthazar Getty, Wife Talk Overcoming Sienna Miller Affair

Balthazar Getty said he and his wife of ten years, Rosetta, are “better than we've ever been,” having reconciled after he cheated on her with actress Sienna Miller.

"Here's the bottom line: It was a very challenging time for everybody involved," the "Brothers & Sisters" actor reportedly told Harper’s Bazaar for its October issue, speaking of fallout from the 2008 affair with Miller, which ended in May of last year.

According to interview excerpts posted by Usmagazine.com, Getty said he “loved and missed my family too much not to make” his relationship with his wife work.

The couple, which has four children together, separated in summer 2008 after photos of Balthazar kissing a topless Miller were splashed across tabloids, according to Us.

Getty praised Rosetta, a fashion designer, for being “understanding enough and spiritual enough” to give their relationship another go.

“In a way it--I don't know...I feel like we're better than we've ever been,” he said.

Added Rosetta: "I believe we go through things in a public way to help other people get through it.”

"I'm going to have to explain this to my daughters one day,” she said. “I chose not to act from ego because I just felt like it would be too crushing for my children.”
