Kara DioGuardi may have shown off her bikini bod on the "American Idol" season finale last year, but this month, she's baring it all for Allure magazine.
Kara is one of several stars, including "Grey's Anatomy" beauty (and newly pregnant) Jessica Capshaw, pop singer Colbie Caillat and "Entourage's" Emmanuelle Chirqui, who posed nude as part of Allure's annual naked truth pictorial.
"This shoot was less about beauty than about taking a risk and showing people a side of me they never have seen," Kara told the mag's May issue.
Kara felt proud to show off her shape, especially after having found peace with her body following years of battling an eating disorder in her 20s.
"Back then I was a size 6 or 8; now I'm more like a size 2. Food is not what I use to anesthetize myself anymore," she said.
