Jennifer Love Hewitt Calls Breakup Rumors "Hurtful"
Ghost Whisperer stars defend relationship from rumor-mongering and call for end to "negative energy"

Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jamie Kennedy have shot down rumors of the end of their relationship.
Jennifer Love Hewitt called breakup rumors targeting her and Ghost Whisperer co-star Jamie Kennedy “hurtful” and said they are jeopardizing her happiness.
"I'm not going to lie – it's not annoying, it's hurtful," the 30-year-old screen starlet told People at a poker gala to benefit a childrens' charity.
Hewitt attended the event alongside her boyfriend of eight months, Kennedy, who she called “awesome.”
"We are just trying to be really happy," Hewitt said. "It makes it hard to do that when everybody is putting negative energy out there."
Recent reports have claimed that Kennedy was getting ready to dump Hewitt for ex-flame Shannon Funk.
Kennedy said the rumors were false.
"I am lucky to be with her,” he told People. “And I love her very much."
