Hugh Hefner's Son Pleads No Contest in Domestic Violence Charge

Marston Hefner accused of striking his "Playmate of the Year" girlfriend last month at their Pasadena home

Playboy founder Hugh Hefner's son on Wednesday pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor domestic violence charge after a confrontation last month with his Playmate girlfriend, Claire Sinclair.

Marston Hefner, 21, pleaded no contest in a Pasadena court to corporal injury to a spouse or cohabitant, according to City News Service.

The run-in occurred on Feb. 12 at the couple's Pasadena home.

"We had just freshly moved into the apartment, and I know Marston was a little stressed out about it," Sinclair told E! News last month. "Marston has been unstable throughout the whole course of our relationship."

She said that the younger Hefner "punched" and "kicked" her, and blamed the incident on medication.

Marston Hefner's sentencing is scheduled for June 12.

He is expected to be sentenced to one year of domestic violence counseling and ordered to stay from Sinclair for three years.
