Megan Fox may dish on her love of sex and rip into other actors openly and often -- but at least she has her integrity.

The sultry "Transformers" starlet known as much for her stunning good looks as her foot-in-mouth commentary said her off-color remarks are often misinterpreted and shouldn't be taken so seriously, according to the Telegraph (U.K).

"I've definitely said some things I shouldn't say," the brunette stunner told the paper. "I sometimes forget how things will translate once they are in print.  But this is a bulls--- industry, and I made a decision not to be a bulls--- person.

"I need to hold onto my soul and my integrity and I can't compromise that."

The two-time winner of FHM's sexiest woman alive moniker who once told Esquire that sex appeal "oozes out of [her] pores" said she isn't shy to talk about sex and hopes on day all women are comfortable with their sexuality.

"Sometimes I say things that are obviously sarcastic and people take them quite literally," she told the Telegraph. "In America, we're still very uptight about sexuality. It's considered scandalous for women to be sexual or to speak about sexuality in a humorous way."

Sex is a power she hopes women will be able to better harness one day, Fox said.

"I just really want it at some point to be okay for women and young girls to be sexy because that's a power, a gift that we were given by God or the universe or whatever," she said. "I think I'm a different kind of role model for young girls. But maybe not the kind America is comfortable with."

Fox's remarks about her job have also gotten her into hot water. The model-turned-actress was the target of fierce criticism by "Transformers" cast members last September after she compared the film's director, Michael Bay, to Hitler.
