Bruce Springsteen Posts Clarence Clemons Eulogy Online

Bruce Springsteen is finally ready to share his thoughts about the late Clarence Clemons with the world.

The complete transcript of Springsteen's eulogy, delivered during Clemons' memorial service on June 21st, has now been posted on the songwriter's official web site. Titled "For the Big Man," it is a heartfelt recollection of their nearly 40 years of collaboration.

"So, I'll miss my friend, his sax, the force of nature his sound was, his glory, his foolishness, his accomplishments, his face, his hands, his humor, his skin, his noise, his confusion, his power, his peace," writes Springsteen. "But his love and his story, the story that he gave me, that he whispered in my ear, that he allowed me to tell... and that he gave to you... is gonna carry on."

Clemons passed away on June 19th from complications following a stroke. He was 69 years old.

During the service, held in Palm Beach, Florida, Springsteen, members of the E Street Band, and musician Jackson Browne performed a musical tribute as well.
