Most parents want their kids to spend less time Tweeting and texting – but Billy Ray Cyrus isn't happy that daughter Miley is done with Twitter.
"Miley. You are a light in a world of darkness," he Tweeted on Thursday, following Miley's abandonment of the site – and over a million followers – earlier in the day. "You were born 'Destiny Hope Cyrus' for a reason. You can't leave everyone now.

"We r countin on u," he concluded.
Miley quit the site after what seemed to be boy drama – her final Tweet read, "FYI Liam [Hemsworth] doesn't have a twitter and he wants ME to delete mine with good reason," referring to her co-star – and possible off-screen romantic interest — in the upcoming film "The Last Song."

However, Billy Ray urged Miley not to let anything stand in the way of her continued Tweeting.
"I understand 'it is true one bad apple spoils the bunch,'" he Tweeted on Thursday night. "But listen to the words of your songs 'Stand… for what ya believe in'…Remember?"
