John Rich and longtime girlfriend Joan Bush tied the knot on Saturday night, the star’s rep confirmed to People.
Rich, 34, is half of country duo Big & Rich and the host of CMT’s “Gone Country.” According to People, he and Joan, a former model who now runs an agency, had quietly dated for over five years before saying their vows, avoiding joint appearances at events or red carpets.
The couple reportedly married in Nashville, where they were joined by about two dozen family members before attending a larger reception at the Fontanel Mansion — a taping location for “Gone Country.”
The nuptials came just weeks after the country star was allegedly involved in a less happy occasion. According to E! Online, John engaged in a fistfight with Jerry Montano, former bassist of metal act Danzig, in the wee hours of October 17 in West Hollywood — a scuffle that reportedly led to Montano suing Rich in November, though no charges were filed.
