Amy Winehouse Out Of Hospital, Now Back In

Just days after Amy Winehouse’s rep told Access Hollywood that the singer was in the hospital for a series of precautionary tests, the singer checked out Friday — and then checked back into the hospital on Monday, according to People.

“She had a chest infection [last week] and underwent some tests to make sure nothing else was wrong,” a source told the mag.

Amy appears to be having problems quitting smoking.

“She has been told to give up smoking and was initially struggling with that – she was covered in nicotine patches at one point,” the source added. “But she is making an effort.”

Amy was reportedly taken to the London Clinic, where she sought treatment for drugs problems earlier this year.

As previously reported on Access, the singer canceled a headlining performance at Paris’ Rock En Seine festival at the last minute in August.

In July, Winehouse was admitted to the emergency room of a London hospital late last month after suffering a reaction to medication, following a more than 10-day stay due to lung problems.
