On the Way to Cape May

Sunset Lighthouse Cruise

For the first time, Cape May Whale Watcher and the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts & Humanities are sponsoring special sunset lighthouse cruises to three of the Delaware Bay's historic lighthouses this summer. On your evening cruise, you’ll visit three lighthouses - the Cape May, the Fourteen Foot Shoal and the Brandywine Shoal (celebrating its 100th Anniversary in 2014), just as they come to life at sunset.

Learn about their history from former lighthouse keepers and the boat’s captain, while enjoying wine and generous hor d'oeuvres. Beer, mixed cocktails, sodas, bottled water, ice cream, hot coffee and cocoa will also be available for purchase.Tickets are $49/adults and $35/children.

If You Go

Sunset Lighthouse Cruises depart from Cape May's Miss Chris Marina promptly at 6 p.m. on August 8 and August 22, 2014. For more information, visit capemaymac.org or call either 609-884-5404 or 1-800-275-4278. Advance reservations are available with your online ticket purchase.
