Head out to celebrate Easter on Sunday, April 5 at one of Philadelphia’s oldest traditions -- the 84th annual Easter Promenade.

The parade kicks off at 12:30 p.m. on Passyaunk Ave. in South Philadelphia and continues all day with lots of family fun.

Live music, Easter treats, best dressed contests and the Bunny Hop are among some of the highlights.

Prizes will be awarded in 12 categories for best dressed contest participants.

After the festivities conclude, be sure to check out some of the best dining spots on South Street.

Some tasty brunch spots include Bridget Foy’s, Ela, Twisted tail and Brauhus Schmitz.

The event is free to the public and will be hosted rain or shine.
