Pam Grier on Becoming “Jackie Brown”

Director Quentin Tarantino's love of cult cinema is well documented. Pam Grier's status as a cult movie legend is also well documented. It was only a matter of time before these two were going to join forces - even though at least one of the two was a tiny bit skeptical...

But it happened in 1997, and the result was "Jackie Brown," Tarantino's third film after his explosive debut "Reservoir Dogs" and the cinematic game-changer "Pulp Fiction." Based on the Elmore Leonard novel "Rum Punch," it stars Grier as a flight attendant sucked into a dangerous game of double- and triple-crosses involving drugs and gun running.

To celebrate its Blu-ray debut, we got a chance to sit down with Grier to talk about the movie that breathed new life into her career (as well as that of co-star Robert Forster), and what it meant to get a letter from QT (with postage due).

"Jackie Brown" is available on Blu-ray now.
