Gordon-Levitt/Rogen Comedy Gets Release Date and Third, Worst Title

"I'm With Cancer" was a great title that totally grabbed us. "Live With It" was good. "50/50" is in the early running for worst title of 2011.

"50/50," a dramedy starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt as a 20-something diagnosed with cancer, is based on the experiences of screenwriter Will Eisner, has been scheduled for release Sept. 30.

We can only assume the new title refers to the chances for survival doctors gave him.

The film, which co-stars Seth Rogen, Anna Kendrick, Bryce Dallas Howard and Anjelica Houston, was directed by Jonathan Levine ("The Wackness").

We're loving the choices JGL is making as his career advances. He's got this in the fall and then in 2012, he's got the bike-messenger thriller "Premium Rush," the time-traveling assassin pic "Looper" and, of course, "The Dark Knight Rises."

Rogen's next film is the Area 51 road-trip comedy, "Paul," in which he voices the titular alien. Co-starring Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, it comes out March 18.
