Phillies Again on SI Cover. Jinx?

The Philadelphia Phillies are back on the cover of Sports Illustrated this week (in a regional cover), the third time this season the team has adorned the front page of the sports pub (there was the Legion of Arms cover in March and The Ace Receiver - Carlos Ruiz in July).

Legendary writer Gary Smith has been following the team all season long, and his story this time around focuses on how these are the best of times for baseball fans in Philly, with the team winning its fifth straight NL East title and chasing a third World Series appearance in a four-year span.

There also is an article by Tom Verducci breaking down the keys to postseason success as Aces and Closers (hence Cliff Lee and Ryan Madson sharing the mound here), which will most certainly mention the other great staffs and closers around the league.

As is often case when a team or player hits the cover of SI, the "curse" question comes up. So will being on the cover for the third time this season jinx the Phillies postseason chances?
