Sunday Funday For You and Your Pup
If you’re looking for something to do this weekend with your fur-kids, there are two great events happening Sunday, July 19.
If you’re in the Philly area, head over to Venice Lofts in Manayunk (4601 Flat Rock Rd, Philadelphia) for the Dog Days of Summer Exhibition.
It’s courtyard will cater to your pets from Noon to 3 p.m. with food, contests and prizes for your pups and cats.
You’ll also get to meet with the peeps from the Pennsylvania Animal Welfare Society (PAWS), Top Dog Pet Sitting and Dog Walking and more.
Vendors will be offering a ton of discounts and services at the event. So, take your pooch to get washed, walked and get a pet training consultation (for the more rowdy ones of the bunch!).
And best part is—all of this stuff is FREE.
But, if you’re in Delaware help a great cause with Dogtopia’s first charity dog wash to help military dogs overseas.
From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., head to the store (2101A Concord Pike, Wilmington, Del.) with your dog for a nice bath (for the dog, of course), as well as food, games and prizes.
Proceeds from the event will benefit K-9 Support, an organization, which raises awareness about military and all working dogs.
