The Animal Welfare Association in Voorhees, N.J. is celebrating Christmas early this year and hoping you will treat yourself with a gift of companionship.

They are offering a discount on cat adoptions--just $25 for cats and $50 for kittens.

Christmas in July means fun, too! Every Saturday (starting July 11) a K-9 Pet Chef will be on hand at the shelter for afternoon barbecues. He will have treats for your pets and you can speak to a dog trainer who will be on hand, too. A pet photographer will also take pics of you with your lovable fur-kid.

But, don't miss the main event--Santa will drop by the shelter July 25, so be sure to say hello and get some photos of your pet with the big guy.
