adopt a pet, lucky
Adopt-a-Pet
UPDATE: Great news!! Lucky has been adopted.
Lucky is a 4-year-old American Cocker Spaniel. Luck is NOT on his side!
Lucky was given to the Pennsylvania SPCA (PSPCA) in December 2007. A woman received him as a gift and didn’t want to keep him. He was there for 11 months and then got adopted, only to be returned a few weeks later because his owner “didn’t have enough time.”
A few days later Lucky was adopted….and 4 months later he was returned because the owner became ill and couldn’t take care of him.
Lucky was adopted (again!) in early March, but his owners weren’t willing to housebreak him, so he came back a few weeks later (they gave up too soon!).
Lucky is shaking like crazy! He doesn’t know why he’s in the shelter and he is scared to death. Lucky is so handsome and sweet, he really deserves a good home.
Lucky is already neutered and he’s up to date on shots, so he could go home immediately. He has lived with children and other pets before, so he’d be great in a variety of homes.
Lucky’s tag # is 1169000. To adopt him, go to the Pennsylvania SPCA (350 E. Erie Avenue). His $75 adoption fee includes neutering (he’s ready to go!), one year of vaccinations (done!), three free weeks of veterinary care, and a microchip.
If you have room in your home and your heart, please help turn this boy’s luck around!
