Jeremy Lin Moves into the W Downtown

Linsanity has hit New York (and the nation) hard and downtown Manhattan is about to get an even bigger dose of the craze propelling an undrafted Harvard grad into the limelight on one of the biggest stages in the NBA. According to the Wall Street Journal, Jeremy Lin is decamping to a fully furnished condo on the 38th floor at the W New York's downtown hotel.

While earlier reports suggested that the baller leased a pad in White Plains from former Knick David Lee, the Wall Street Journal suggests otherwise and reports that Lin never actually moved into the swanky spread.

Just like previous players before him, Lin got totally hooked up with a sweet crib and with a sweet discount on his new Manhattan abode. His new Louise-Sunshine-furnished digs come with two bedrooms, a four-foot high sculpture in the glass-walled living room, original art on the walls, and views of the Statue of Liberty and the World Trade Center. The bachelor pad was originally listed for $13,000 per month, but Number 17 reportedly got a steep discount, though the exact price Lin is paying is still unclear.

Now that's he's an overnight superstar, Lin is beginning to procure all the amenities related to such stardom. In addition to his enviable new digs (and certainly, enviable discount), Lin will get to regularly dine in the private dining room of the BLT Bar & Grill, located just downstairs from his new rental unit.
