Will Michael Vick play this week despite a badly bruised hand?
The Eagles quarterback took the first step towards being in uniform Sunday when he participated in a walkthrough on Wednesday morning. He was also expected to fully practice with the team during the afternoon session.
Vick suffered a hand contusion (originally called a broken hand) in the Eagles' 29-16 loss to the New York Giants on Sunday. But Philadelphia coach Andy Reid says the swelling is down.
Vick's availability for Philadelphia's home game vs. San Francisco (2-1) is not yet decided, yet Wednesday's participation is a positive sign for him.
Vick himself seems more positive on his status for Sunday.
"I think there's a 100-percent chance I'll be out there this weekend," Vick told reporters.
Though still early, Vick and his “Dream Team” find themselves at 1-2 and in last place in the NFC East, as the Giants, Redskins and Cowboys are all 2-1.
