Michael Vick is the x-factor in this game.

Michael Vick and the Eagles face a big test Sunday as they take on Vick’s former team in the Georgia Dome on Sunday Night Football.

I think it will be a close game throughout.

[PHI] Vick in Atlanta: I'm a Pro, I Know How to Handle This
Michael Vick is back playing in Atlanta as a starting quarterback for the first time since he used to roam the turf at the Georgia Dome. Vick says his emotions won't get the best of him as he leads the Eagles against the Falcons. (Published Sunday, Sep 18, 2011)

The Falcons need this game more than the Eagles. They are trying to go 1-1 after a bad 30-12 loss to Chicago on the road to start the season.

The Eagles -- with their first two on the road -- with a win would start 2-0. That would be great.

Remember QB Matt Ryan and the Falcons offense is completely different at home in their dome. He is 20-2 at home since he took over in Atlanta.

But I think the x-factor will be Vick. He will have a lot of emotions in his first start back in the place (the Georgia Dome) he ruled for years.

They're 'Michael Vick' Fans in Atlanta

[PHI] They're 'Michael Vick' Fans in Atlanta
In Atlanta we find fans that aren't necessarily Falcons fans and aren't necessarily Eagles fans but they're Michael Vick fans for sure.

The last time he had a lot of emotion heading into a game was last year in Washington. He had heard earlier in the day that Donovan McNabb had signed a huge new deal (fake) with the Redskins. Vick went out and had one of the greatest performance in Monday Night Football history.

I expect him to be the difference in Atlanta. He is even quicker on turf in a dome.

    Eagles win 35-27.
