There is at least one guy on the Eagles that sure doesn’t seem to be bothered by the Heat.

“This heat is nothing,” said Eagles offensive lineman Max Jean-Gilles. “I’m a Miami guy.”

As soon as MJG mentioned the heat the conversation quickly turned to the Heat -- the three-headed-monster Miami Heat.

“It should be illegal,” said the 6-foot-3, 358-pound guard. “They got three of the five best players in the league.”

The guys MJG was talking about of course were LeBron James, Dewayne Wade and Chris Bosh who set off a firestorm when all three signed with the Heat this summer.

MJG might start on the Birds line (for now at least) but he can’t even start to predict how great LeBron’s Heat will be. He isn’t sure if the Heat can live up to analysts Jeff Van Gundy’s prediction that they will set the NBA record with more than 72 wins but he is sure of one thing.

The Heat will take the title and that's what matters the most, he said.

Each day of Eagles training camp NBCPhiladelphia.com will focus on different Bird trying to soar at Lehigh.
