Cowboys defensive coordinator Rob Ryan might have to eat "All-Hype Team" words after his vaunted Dallas run defense (entered the game allowing less than 70 yards per game) was gashed for 239 rushing yards as the Eagles cruised to a 34-7 win over the Boys Sunday night.

Ryan caused a stir leading up to the game by again claiming the Eagles were the "All-Hype Team" but they looked more like the "Dream Team" Sunday night.

"I got outcoached by (Andy) Reid and their staff," Ryan said. "It's ridiculous. I never gave our guys a chance. The whole thing was on me."

The Eagles offense exploded out of gate scoring touchdowns on their first three drives and scoring on their first six drives on their way to a 34-0 lead early in the fourth quarter.

Watkins: Eagles Offense Just 'Scratching the Surface'

[PHI] Watkins: Eagles Offense Just 'Scratching the Surface'
After the Eagles offense manhandled the Cowboys defense in a 34-7 win Sunday Night, starting guard Danny Watkins says the team has just scratched the surface of how good they could be.

RB LeSean McCoy led the way for the Birds with 200 total yards of offense. He rushed for a career-high 185 yards and two touchdowns on a career-high 30 carries while hauling in two passes for 15 yards. All against a Cowboys defense that entered the game No. 1 in the NFL against the run.

"I feel like every game is a chance for me to prove myself," McCoy said. "At any given time, any one of our guys could go off."

QB Michael Vick added 50 yards of his own on seven rushes. But his biggest weapon was his arm as he completed 21 of 28 passes (75 percent) for 279 yards and two scores -- a 129.9 passer rating.

"We started fast," Vick said. "That was our mindset. We wanted to set the tempo. We didn't want to let up."

TE Brent Celek was Vick's favorite target hauling in seven passes for 94 yards and a score.

The Birds offense put up 495 total yards but lineman Danny Watkins said despite the big night the Eagles O was just "scratching the surface." They had 31 first downs and controlled the ball for more than 42 minutes to keep the Boys offense off the field.

The Eagles biggest number, though, was 0 -- as in no turnovers.

Talking turnovers, the Eagles defense forced Dallas QB Tony Romo into one interception (a nice grab by Nnamdi Asomugha) while sacking Romo four times. Romo completed just 18 of 35 passes (51 percent) for 203 yards -- a 66.7 passer rating.

Juan Castillo’s unit only had one major hiccup -- S Kurt Coleman was gashed for a 70-yard-Romo-to-(Laurent) Robinson TD in the fourth. Otherwise his unit was solid stopping the Cowboys on fourth and goal deep in the red zone.

With the Eagles out to a big early lead Dallas abandoned the rushing attack despite DeMarco Murray rushing for 74 yards on just eight carries.

Eagles coach Andy Reid is now 13-0 after the Bye Week.

The win jumped the 3-4 Eagles ahead of the 3-4 Cowboys and into second place behind the 5-2 Giants in the NFC East.

The Eagles broke a nearly 11-month losing streak at Lincoln Financial Field with the win. They try to make it two in a row at the Linc when the 4-3 Bears come to town for Monday Night Football next week.
