Andy Reid's Son Stopped on Traffic Violations

Out of the spotlight for two years, Britt Reid gets pulled over by state police Thursday

Britt Reid, the son of Eagles head coach Andy Reid, was pulled over for multiple traffic violations last week, reports the Inquirer.

A Pennsylvania State Police trooper stopped Britt Reid Thursday in Lower Merion Township. The officer gave the 26-year-old citations for allegedly speeding, careless driving and tire-equipment violations, reports the Inquirer.

Britt Reid, as well as his brother Garrett Reid, have had a history of run-ins with the law, but Britt has been on the straight-and-narrow for the past two years.

Britt Reid was arrested in January 2007 on drugs and weapons charges after he flashed a gun at another driver during a road-rage incident. Police found small amounts of cocaine and marijuana in his vehicle.

In June 2009, Britt Reid graduated from a 15-month court-run drug treatment program. He has stayed out of the limelight until now.
