Philadelphia Brewing Company, best known for its selection of brews that includes Philly favorites Kenzinger and Walt Wit, is also known in certain beer-loving circles for its weekly open house and beer tastings.

But now that the season of snowflakes and Santa is upon us, PBC (2423 Ambler St.) will transform the brewery into a winter wonderland November 30, for an open house that will put any mall Santa display to shame. This is your chance to get an inside peek at the brewery. Expect beer, snacks and even an appearance from Jolly Ol’ St. Nick himself. The festivities will run from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

In the spirit of giving, PBC is asking all visitors to bring a donation for Flat Iron Wildcats, an organization that aims to control the stray population and find families for homeless cats and kittens.
