The Dock Street Brewery Inaugural Bash

Dock Street hosts a dinner for U-City in celebration of this year’s historical inauguration. The night starts at 6 p.m.

The Hilton’s Philadelphia Inaugural Celebration
The Hilton, 4200 City Ave.
Can’t attend one of the inauguration galas in DC, but want to go nonetheless? The evening includes a buffet dinner, live entertainment and DJs, as well as a screening of inauguration events. Tickets are $50, $25 for children under 12. Check out Moveon.org for more information.

  • Marquita Tuesday, Jan 20 at 10:36 AM FLAG COMMENT I understand that he is biracial. However, if it were the 1950's, we would not be focusing on him being just as white as he is black. He would be considered black by looking at his skin color and no one would even care that he was half white. If he would be considered black when those times would discriminate by the color of your skin, why can we not consider him black when he has made an accomplishment?

Number one - what difference does it make, the only thing that SHOULD matter is that can he lead the country. Number two, he had a Caucasian mother and African American father so he is biracial (not that it matters) and raised by his mother and grandmother who were caucasian (once again, what difference does it make) I don' ...
