The Best Happy Hour Ever Say Buh-Bye to Beer Halls

Happy Hour goes high class.

Free food rules. Free food plus five dollar cocktails rules even more! Most of the time, a 5:00-7:00 Happy Hour with free food and cheap booze is a tactic taken by dreary watering holes that smell like the mop used to clean the bathroom. (What is that?) But this time, the offer is coming from one of the city's most transporting and upscale lounges: Le Bar Lyonnais.

For those needing a base for their booze, there's not a wing, jalapeño popper or quesadilla in sight here. The kitchen of Le Bec Fin provides the hors d'oeuvres (they're called hors d'oeuvres here, not "finger food" or "snacks") which complement the high quality booze. They pour the good stuff here, my friend (no well drinks for this crowd). There are Stoli martinis, Sobieski vodka mixed drinks, Stella Artois and wines selected by the sommelier. Now that's classy!

So pass by the stinky hole-in-the-walls with neon beer signs in the window. You just got a better offer.
