Early December can often feel like the eye of a hurricane. The stress of Thanksgiving is out of the way, but the mad gift grab of Christmas and Hanukkah are ready to blow the doors off your serenity.

You can, however, ignore the holiday madness a little longer with the Coca Shea Product Launch Party, hitting the Philadelphia Clef Club of Jazz and Performing Arts this Friday, December 5 at 5:30 p.m. The bath gel, candle and soap company wants you to be the first to check out their new line.

Apart from the dazzling aromas of their products, attendees can take in live jazz and massages and free samples galore.

Beyond what you would normally find in your local mall, Coca Shea specializes in products straight out of spas and resorts, like Hawaiian bath salts and soaps made without extracting the glycerin, so there are no synthetic detergents to dry out your skin. Coca Shea also offers soaps made with exfoliating materials like butter and honey. All their products are hand-made and can be personalized and gifted in ways you never thought possible.

The best part is that this company is local. Started by a mother and daughter team, the company operates entirely out of Philadelphia, specializing in creating the perfect bath experience.

So get down to 736 S. Broad Street this Friday and soak yourself in the sensuous new scents from Coca Shea before its too late.

Admission is $10.
