It’s almost time to heat up the night at Valentine to the Market.
The black tie optional affair will take place Saturday night from 7 to 11 at the Reading Terminal Market in Center City.
This evening is a great time for Reading Terminal Market lovers to come together with the merchants and celebrate what makes the historic market unique.
Dance the night away to continuous entertainment including Mambo Machine, Karen Gross and DJ Aaron Levinson.
What’s an affair like this without delicious cuisine and drinks? There will be two open bars featuring specialty cocktails, beer and wine. Celebrity chefs Michael Schulson, Daniel Stern, Delilah Winder and Joseph Poon will be participating an appetizer cook-off that certainly should please the taste buds.
Our own Lu Ann Cahn as well as other media personalities will be participating as judges, sous chefs and celebrity bartenders.
All proceeds from the event will be benefiting the Reading Terminal Preservation Fund to ensure that the Market will be around for future generations.
Tickets are available online as well as in person at the Reading Terminal Market. The VIP pre-party begins at 6:00 and tickets are $300, which includes hors d’oeuvres, champagne, a special gift bag and a specialty open bar. General admission tickets to the night of food and fun are $125.
There is also special $10 parking rate for partiers.
