The news is abuzz these days with stories about the Economic Stimulus Plan. Will it calm the recession? Will it help more than those tax rebates from last year?

Look, we’d be lying if we said we had a handle on exactly what it’s supposed to do—let alone whether it’ll work.

One thing we do know about, however, is food. And when we heard about OpenTable.com’s Appetite Stimulus Plan, our interests in economics skyrocketed.

OpenTable, an online restaurant reservation network, knows that times are tough. And they know how boring those microwaved dinners become after about three days of at-home eating. So from November 17 through 21, OpenTable has paired with more than 65 area restaurants that will offer $35 three-course dinner menus and $24 lunches.

Think of it as an emergency Restaurant Week. This is your chance to check out top fooderies like Rae, Fork and Zahav—for a price that even Suze Orman would be OK with.

Reservations are expected to go fast—so make yours now. And be sure to request the Appetite Stimulus Plan when you’re seated at your restaurant(s) of choice.
