Jose Garces

Next Iron Chef contestant and Philly culinary phenomenon Jose Garces was in New York City recently, where a reporter's colleague managed to make him spill his cocktail.

Not only was he "very gracious about it," he also took the time to answer a "battery of questions" from The New York Post at the Chelsea Market After Dark party like, would he open up a restaurant in NYC?

"Maybe," he noted coyly. "If I win I will."

And guess what? Not only does Garces have the Post rooting for him, The Illadelph says they hear that very outcome just may happen.

!!

The next episode of The Next Iron Chef airs Sunday at 9 p.m. on the Food Network.
