Celebrate the Wiener All Month Long

July is National Hot Dog Month (yes, there is such a thing). But how exactly do you celebrate the hot dog?
With trivia, a drawing contest and the unveiling of delicious new hot dogs that’s how.
And since Philadelphia Magazine says Johnnie’s Dog House serves up the best wieners around, we figured it would be a great place to celebrate the mystery meat. Plus, they’ve got three locations (by the airport, in Wayne and in Wilmington, DE) making heading out for a dog pretty easy.
Get your study on because the more you know about wieners, the better. Johnnie’s is giving free food or a free drink for right answers to their hot dog trivia. Better yet, put your kids to work. Submit their sketches of people enjoying a nice juicy hot dog and win.
Plus, Johnnie’s been traveling and you can reap the benefits. All month long, try his newest recipes influenced by recent trips to Seattle and Paris.
So whether it’s a dog with relish, sauerkraut, chili or everything under the sun that you crave, Johnnie’s is going to give you one hell of wiener as they honor the hot dog this month.
