Top Spots for Barflys at the Beach
Nothin' says summer like the No Shower Happy Hour at the OD. Ocean Drive in Sea Isle features live music every night, cheap drinks and a decor reminiscent of your grandmom's basement (except it's packed with hundreds and hundreds of really drunk people).
Top Spots for Barflys at the Beach
Looking to party? Here's where you can get down and dirty down the shore. Nothin' says summer like the No Shower Happy Hour at the OD. Ocean Drive in Sea Isle features live music every night, cheap drinks and a decor reminiscent of your grandmom's basement (except it's packed with hundreds and hundreds of really drunk people). The Princeton in Avalon got a major face lift last year, but don't let its fancy ornamentation fool you, beach-goers still make this their go-to place for down the shore debauchery. You don't need to be Irish to go to Keenan's Irish Pub in North Wildwood. A nightlife staple for many, many years, Keenan's has bucket and beer specials daily, live music and live radio broadcasts all summer long. Seaside Heights' Beach Bar is one of the hottest spots to party in New Jersey. Sip Coors Lights on the beach for just 99 cents daily or dance the night away. The Stone Pony in Asbury Park was put on the map (or was it the other way around?) by The Boss himself, Bruce Springsteen. They continue to bring in killer bands and serve up some cheap drinks. The Boiler Room in Cape May features some of the best in live Jazz, Reggae and Blues music and some of the best DJs around. An outdoor beachside bar by day (the Carousel) and a haven for beach bums at night, The Springfield Inn in Sea Isle is the place to be. We recommend not wearing nice shoes or clothes, you'll definitely get spilled on by overzealous dancers.
