Yet another stop on the Never-Ending Spectrum Farewell Tour will take place when Ed Snider heads to Barnes & Noble in Center City on October 7 to sign copies of “God Bless The Spectrum.”

The book -- which chronicles the history of  “America’s Showplace” through over 200 color photos -- is available at Barnes & Noble and Fan Gear for just $24.95.

The commemorative hardback pays tribute to the colorful history of the arena and the teams that played there, like the Flyers and Sixers, along with other notable sporting events.

One of the most colorful chapters in the book is the “Concerts” section, which features previously unreleased backstage photos of some of the best acts to ever play the Spectrum, like Elvis, Bruce Springsteen and the mighty Led Zeppelin.

“The book brings back an immediate flood of emotions and personal memories for me,” said Snider. “It uncovers some spectacular photographs of many of the world's top musicians backstage in the hallowed halls of the Spectrum. It also perfectly highlights some of the greatest moments in Flyers and Sixers history.”

Snider will appear at the bookstore at 6 p.m. and sign copies until 7 p.m.
