Baseball Legend, Norristown native and Phillie Phanatic-hater Tommy Lasorda will be in Philadelphia on Wednesday, Nov. 11 signing bottles of his booze.
Didn’t know the baseball Hall of Famer had his own signature wines? Apparently, Lasorda’s passion for fine wine evolved two years ago when he began assembling a line of Italian wines.
Now, Lasorda Wines are available at more than 20 liquor stores in Philadelphia, but he’ll only be visiting the Pennsylvania Wine and Spirits Store at 1940 S. Columbus Blvd.
Buy either of the two bottles being sold at the store -- Lasorda Chianti, $17.99 or Lasorda Pinot Grigio del Veneto, $15.99 -- and the former Phillies farmhand will give it his John Hancock.
Lasorda will be signing bottles from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.
