Philly Wedding Project Picks Winning Couple
Caitlin and Rodney win free wedding photos

Your wedding is one of the most important days in your life and thanks to the Philadelphia Wedding Project, six Philly photographers are helping make one deserving couple's dream wedding come true.
The goal of the project is for six of the city's premiere wedding photographers to work together to give one lucky couple (who are planning a wedding) the photography package of their dreams -- that means everything from the engagement to the rehearsal dinner to the reception -- for FREE!
The contest began in July when the Wedding Project solicited couples to submit their love story -- how they met, fell in love, dreams, goals, what makes them a special couple, why they should win -- you know, a compelling story deserving of this awesome prize.
And after much contemplation and hundreds of entries, the winning couple was announced on October 19. Caitlin and Rodney, two soldiers currently serving in Iraq, were notified via email of their win.
"I couldn’t wait for Rodney to get back from mission so I could tell him the wonderful and exciting news. I’d like to say we celebrated by throwing back a few cold ones or going out to dinner, but that isn’t the case. Instead we shared the wonderful news with the people that mean the most to us, our family and friends. Never in our wildest dreams did we think we would ever win anything like this," said Caitlin.
Their story is one of true love and dedication to one another and to honor this amazing couple and their August 2010 wedding, Steven Starr is throwing a Philadelphia Wedding Project party on Wednesday, Nov. 18 at his Washington Square Restaurant where everyone in attendance will skype Caitlin and Rodney so that they can join in the celebration.
