WISE GAL: Get your laugh on with stand-up comedian Tammy Pescatelli of Last Comic Standing. Pescatelli, an Italian-American from Ohio, will perform 8 p.m. at Helium Comedy Club. MODERN METAL: Hit up the Theatre of Living Arts (TLA) tonight for a haunting evening with Isis and Pelican. Isis is a progressive metal group with a bit of avant-garde thrown. Pelican is an instrumental band and falls into the genre of “aggression with a pop sensibility,” according to band member Trevor de Brauw.
