Philly's been pushing to host the Olympics for quite some time now, and although the city won't be filled with buff athletes, on Wednesday, June 17, it will be filled with Mojito-swigging Philadelphians.
The competition will be fierce as 12 bartenders from some of Philly's best eateries (Cuba Libre, G, The Moshulu, Rum Bar, Valanni) compete in the mojito triathlon. Results are based on the speed at which the "athletes" mix their masterpiece, creativity and, of course, taste.
Speaking of taste, although you, the lucky spectator, will not be judging the competition (we'll leave that up to six unnamed celebs), you will get the chance to taste mojitos of all kinds and grab complimentary tapas courtesy of Rum Bar.
Tickets for the Mojito Olympics start at $35, but VIP and Elite admission is also available ($55, $75).
Starting gun fires at 7 p.m. at G Lounge on 17th.
