4/19: Fashion, Fortune and a Film

Peter Buffett: See Peter Buffett tonight at World Café live. Although he is the son of billionaire Warren Buffett, Peter has taken a different path in life by focusing on writing, music and philanthropy. He is the author of Life is What You Make It as well as an established musician with over a dozen records. Tonight’s performance -- a concert and conversation -- will include music by Buffett intertwined with stories and video clips. All proceeds will benefit non-profit group, LiveConnections.org, helping establish free music programs for children in the Philadelphia area. Movie Monday: Tonight’s Movie Monday at the Troc. Get yourself ready for a Tarantino classic, Pulp Fiction. The Oscar-winning crime film stars John Travolta, Samuel L. Jackson, Uma Thurman and plenty more butt kickers. Get there early for a DVD release screening of This Time Tomorrow, a documentary-style film following skateboarders throughout the world.
