Spelling Bee: If you’re a good sober speller, test your skills tonight with a few drinks in you. Head to Bob and Barbara’s for a few rounds of their drunken spelling bee contest. For only a $5 entry fee, have a free beer and enjoy $3 Jim Beam shots with a PBR. Sign up is at 10 p.m.—just enough time to have a few drinks before you get started at 10:30 p.m. With each round there is a break for some more drinking and dancing. Winner walks home with $50. Jeff Dye: Come see the charming and hilarious comedian Jeff Dye at Helium Comedy Club tonight. Dye was one of the finalists on the sixth season of NBC’s Last Comic Standing. He’s also known for his edgy and creative humor and lack of profanity. If you’re looking for a few laughs tonight on a budget see Dye for only $10. Two Dollar Tuesday: We all know it’s rough to still go out for happy hour when everyone is broke, but Rum Bar’s doing something special for us all.
