10/5: Calamari, Comedy and Crazy Times

Tipsy at Triumph: Triumph Brewery in Old City knows Mondays are rough, so they are offering not one, but two happy hours tonight. From 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., sip on $3 pints of beer, $4 house wine and $5 house cocktails. Snack on food specials from their $6 bar menu including calamari, pizza and wings. If that’s not enough, do it all over again from 9 p.m. through midnight. Come for the first happy hour or stay for both. Triumph Brewery, 117 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, Pa. 19106, Free, 5 p.m.

Movie Monday: See Observe and Report tonight at the Troc for only $3. The same $3 gets you a free beer and bag of popcorn if you arrive before 7 p.m. Get the theater feel for half the price as a regular movie. Observe and Report stars the hilarious Seth Rogan, Anna Farris and Ray Liotta. The shows starts at 8 p.m. so hang out a bit and mix and mingle with others who enjoy a good laugh after a hard day’s work. Karaoke at Khyber: Head upstairs in Khyber for some karaoke and a few drinks. The karaoke doesn’t begin until 9 p.m, but you can enjoy happy hour specials beginning at 5 p.m. Specials include $1 domestic bottles, $2 pints of Kenzinger, $2 off all drafts and $1 off everything else.
