Delaware Hotel: One for the Romantics

The economy may be breaking hearts all over the world, but when it comes to romance couples aren’t letting the recession cause their hearts to skip a beat.
You + Me = We. And, when it comes to “us,” TripAdvisor found that 77 percent of "us" are taking romantic trips this year; sixteen percent are taking a Valentine’s Day trip.
It seems as though those love getaways aren’t dropping with the NASDAQ, more travelers are actually planning love getaways in 2009, according to TripAdvisor.
If you want to 'get away' with that special someone this Valentine’s Day, but have a strict budget, TripAdvisor released a list of the Top 10 U.S. Bargain Romance Hotels.
The 10 hotels had the highest average for bargain and romance in the United States and were rated by individuals who have actually stayed in them, said James Korenchen, a TripAdvisor spokesperson.
Interestingly enough, six percent of travelers have broken up with a significant other while on a trip, TripAdvisor reported.
And, one hot spot is practically right around the corner: Hotel Rehoboth in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware came in at number 9.
Hotel Rehoboth has a $184 average nightly rate.
