Are you looking to celebrate your heritage and culture? Or maybe want to see what Philadelphia’s dynamic cultures have to offer?
Global Fusion Festival run by the Philadelphia Multicultural Affairs Congress, returns July 13-18 to Penn’s Landing for a weeklong celebration.
The festival first started back in 2007 and it grew from a one-time event to weeklong entertainment. Last year more than 15,000 people attended.
The festivities start Monday with various activities that include free salsa lesson, a Def Jam Comedy show. On Saturday, the GFF will close with the free festival featuring music artists such as Bobby V, which will be the opening act, gospel music star, James Fortune, and meringue singer, Oro Solido.
Besides the entertainment there will also be a variety of food from the different cultures and family fun. And the MAC will offer specials and discounts throughout the week, according to the festival.
For the weeklong activities and schedule visit the Global Fusion Festival website.
