Inaugural Screening & After-Work Party

Inaugural Watch FREE noon - 2pm, After-Work $40, 6-9pm

Get Your Barack On Hosted by the Philadelphia Citypaper
The Plough and the Stars, 123 Chestnut St.

The fun begins at 6 p.m., but you need to RSVP to reap all the benefits.

The Dock Street Brewery Inaugural Bash
701 S. 50th St.
Dock Street hosts a dinner for U-City in celebration of this year’s historical inauguration. The night starts at 6 p.m.

The Hilton’s Philadelphia Inaugural Celebration
The Hilton, 4200 City Ave.
Can’t attend one of the inauguration galas in DC, but want to go nonetheless? The evening includes a buffet dinner, live entertainment and DJs, as well as a screening of inauguration events. Tickets are $50, $25 for children under 12. Check out Moveon.org for more information.

McGillin's Inaguration Luau
McGillin’s Olde Ale House, 1310 Drury St.
is throwing an all-day luau starting at 11 a.m., celebrating Obama’s native Hawaiin upbringing with peachy pork roast barbecue and macadamia nut-crusted coconut shrimp.

Mugshots Coffee Inaugural bash
Mugshots Coffee, 2100 Fairmount Ave.
Join in on the celebration at neighborhood coffee shop Mugshots from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Italian-Style Inauguration Celebration
Pat Bombino’s, 767 S. 9th St.
Ring in a new era with a traditional Italian Market-neighborhood meal at Pat Bombino’s, where the TVs will be tuned to MSNBC and CNN, the discussion will focus on the change ahead and the wine and pasta will be plentiful.
